URGENT BIG SUR COAST FLASH FLOOD WARNING

The National Weather Service in the San Francisco Bay area has issued a

Flash Flood Warning for… west central Monterey County in central California…

until 1045 am PST

Some locations that may experience flooding include… Big Sur Village…Bixby bridge…Pfeiffer Beach…Garrapata State Park and Andrew Molera State Park. Precautionary/preparedness actions… Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

At 848 am PST…Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding may occur in the warned area. This could lead to debris flows.
