Due to an earlier incident, the mouth of Palo Colorado Rd, near HWY 1, is an active crime scene. Palo Colorado is currently closed, and may remain closed for up to 12 hours. My infomation is not official, but it seems that the incident involved non-locals and the sheriff, with 2 suspects, 1 of whom what shot. I will post more information as to the road closure when I have it. If you call the sheriff for more up-to-date information about the road closure, please be careful not to use the emergency number.
