HIGHWAY 1 CARMEL TO CAMBRIA ROADWAY UPDATE
HIGHWAY 1 HELICOPTER NETTING OPERATIONS TODAY–COMPLETE
MONTEREY COUNTY: Crews placed cable netting on the slope above Hwy 1,
just north of Limekiln Creek, about 25 miles south of Big Sur, with
assistance from Aris Helicopter Services today, Thursday, Feb. 16, Caltrans
officials announced.
Work today was part of the Rain Rocks Slope Drapery repair due to last
month’s slide and was completed at 1 pm.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through
highway construction zones.
