Spoke with Andrew Madsen, Public Affairs Officer for Los Padres National Forest. He says the fire has burned into a drainage and that only one outbuilding is being threatened.
CHP website is stating Air Support is enroute:

Caltrans is estimating that Highway 1 will be open to one-way controlled traffic at 1:00 PM today. We’ll update if there is any change.
4/8 8:30AM: One lane opening around 10am

I just received a message from Caltrans that they expect to have one-lane, controlled traffic flowing through the area that’s been closed by the slide by 10am this morning.

As of 4:30PM, CHP is reporting a slide closing Highway One at Pfeiffer State Park. Reports say the slide is substantial, coming from Pfeiffer Creek. Mud came up to the top of the K-rails at the Lodge and some water seeped into the lobby. The road is completely impassable.
